Mr.
Toad's Wild Ride (Class IV+) is the first major rapid on the river. At high
water this rapid has a couple of rather large holes, the biggest one in
the center of the rapid. The 2 major concerns for this rapid are the numerous
rock sieves on the left and the undercut wall on the bottom right. Most
rafters enter on the right with a hard left angle and forward paddle. Many
choose to portage this rapid. There is a strenuous portage route on the
right. This is one rapid you wouldn't want your worst enemy to swim!! Back
