Whitewater Rafting "Matterhorn" in Goodwin Canyon
Matterhorn (Class V-VI: portage at most flows ), is a steep rocky falls with a very narrow slot at higher flows if you run it correctly. The right side is unrunnable and the Matterhorn (a large submerged rock) is just left of center. Scout and portage on the right. The portage is fairly easy, but watch out, the rocks are very slippery. Most choose to portage this rapid regardless of flows. Back to Mile-by-Mile
